May is here and it’s one of the most impactful months of the year at the CYP Club.
At the center of it all is our Columbus Volunteer Festival on May 16 at Land-Grant Brewing's Gravity Experience Park. This is a one-of-a-kind experience where you can connect with local nonprofits, take part in hands-on volunteer activities, and enjoy a morning of live music, food trucks, and community. If you’ve been looking for a way to give back while meeting great people, this is it. Spread the word; all are welcome.

👷🏻♂️ May 4: Godman Guild Hard Hat Tour & Happy Hour (4-6pm)
Join our friends at Godman Guild for a behind-the-scenes look at one of Columbus’ longest-standing community organizations. Explore the facility, learn about its impact, and connect with others during a casual happy hour. Look for CYP Ambassador Tyler Hicks-Nelson when you arrive.
🏡 May 7: Homebuyer Happy Hour with CME (4-7pm)
Our friends at CME Federal Credit Union invite you to The Crooked Can in Hilliard for a casual, free event to connect with mortgage experts, realtors, and others on the homebuying journey while you enjoy drinks, appetizers, and a chance to win prizes. This is a partner-hosted event (no CYP check-in required).
🎭 May 6: Arts & Culture Networking Night (5:30-7:30pm)
Step inside one of Columbus’ most dynamic creative spaces with an evening at Shadowbox Live, the largest resident theater company in the country. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour, learn about their creative process, and connect with others over light bites and conversation.
☕ May 13: Coffee with a Cause (7:30-9am)
This month’s program, Creating Pathways to Homeownership So Families Flourish, tackles a challenge many young professionals and families are facing in today’s housing market: how do we build financial stability and realistically prepare for homeownership?
⚡ May 13: Team Trivia Night Social (6:30-8:30pm)
Put your knowledge to the test with a Jeopardy-style team trivia night during a laid-back social event. Grab a team (or join one on-site) and compete for prizes and bragging rights.
